Falling victim to social media’s fads

I am betting you have all seen them, people posting their meals too social media.

Well, I think I may just fall to this fad. So some need to knows

I am Australian … or, more correctly … ‘Strayan.

In ‘Straya, slapping food between two bits of bread is a staple and even an art form. The sandwich, or more correctly, ‘sanga’ is a form of ‘Strayan art.

To accomplish this properly there are a few basic principals, These I may get inspired to discuss at a different time. Right now, I have just invented another filling that I feel inspired to share.

Walrus’ Satay Tuna salad.

Components:
1 small tin of tuna (tinned in water, chunk or flake, I think they are 160 gms)
1/2 medium brown/yellow onion (sweet onion also good) finely diced
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder (exact amount can be varied to taste)
2 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter (preferably natural without sugar) crunchy vs smooth is personal preference
1 teaspoon hoy-sin sauce
3 heaping tablespoons of real mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons liquid honey

Mix well, ensuring chunks of tuna are broken up and ingredients are evenly distributed.

Slap between slices of good quality bread, and enjoy, trying not to make too many suspect orgasm like noises…… Or do if you like confusing the neighbours …
